The bottom Drains both have air domes - Spindrifter fed from a Secoh 40 Air Pump to supply both Spindrifters. The pond size and depth designed as a formal rectangular pond is 5.2m(17ft) Long 2.8m(9ft) Wide 1.5m(5ft) deep. The pond volume is 21,800 Litres or 4,800 galls (uk).

The filter system is a Nexus Easy 300 fed from a Vortex (100cm High x 72cm Diameter). The Nexus is loaded with 150 Litres of Kaldnes K1 and 25 Litres of Biochips in Biological Chamber. 45 Litres of Kaldnes K1 in Easy 300. A single water pump, Reeflo Dart rated at 11500 L/hr, feed the return via a 55W Cloverleaf Stainless Steel UV. This is complemented by a Estrad Ozone Generator producing 4000mg of Ozone per Hour with feedback control provided by Redox Probe Ozone reactor pumped by Aquamax 5500. Filtration is further supplemented by a skimmer system pumped by Sequence (750) 10,000 L/hr.

The pond, as it is a fairly new pond, has yet to have the full complement of koi, however a wide selection of varities can be seen in the pond including home bred koi from a friends pond.
